A DRIVE holiday in Lithuania is a great way to explore towns, villages and natural wonders at your own pace. Our carefully planned routes guide you round areas of interest such as the Trakai, Kaunas, Hill of Crosses, Curonian Spit and seaside resort town of Palanga.
We highlight points of interest from both a geographical and historical perspective, but you decide what you want to see. The routes are planned so you don't have to drive extended periods without a break. Your accommodation is usually in guest houses or small hotels and is on a bed and breakfast basis.
Explore the beautiful baroque town of Vilnius, travel to the fairytale red-bricked castle in Traikai - Eastern Europe’s only island castle - and from Kaunas, continue along the scenic Panemuné road visiting castles and manor houses that line this picturesque route. Spend time relaxing in Lithuania’s resort town of Nida, on the stunning Curonian Spit, where the fragile landscape of shifting sand dunes, and pine forests where elk and wild boar roam free, is protected by national park status. This tour can also be arranged using public buses.
